Flashback Fri: Oh, did We say 30 DAYS?

This pilot fish gets a contact from the user who can’t open the scheduled program used to track equipment calibration, so she takes the short walk to the user’s desk. There, she finds a &ldquo has been got by an individual;data file not found” message when he tries to open the scheduled program.Says fish: “I opened the sample data therefore i could determine the real name and located area of the file this program needed.”

Turns out the info files are on the network drive, that is backed up daily, so asks once the user was in the program last fish.

“A month ago about,” he says.

Fish has swapped the tape set for the nightly backup already, so she checks to see if the two-week-old tape in the drive gets the file already. Affirmed, it’s there, and fish restores the returns and file to the user’s desk — and he is able to open this program and see his data now.
