AWS achieves GSMA Safety Certification for European countries (Paris) Region

We continue steadily to expand the scope of our assurance programs at Amazon Web Services (AWS) and so are pleased to announce our Europe (Paris) Region is currently certified by the GSM Association (GSMA) under its Security Accreditation Scheme Subscription Management (SAS-SM) with scope Data Center Operations and Management (DCOM) . That is an addition to your US East (Ohio) Region, in September 2021 which received certification. This alignment with GSMA requirements demonstrates our continuous commitment to stick to the heightened expectations for cloud providers. AWS customers who provide embedded Universal Integrated Circuit Card (eUICC) for cellular devices can run their remote provisioning applications confidently in the AWS Cloud in the GSMA-certified Regions.

Around this writing, 72 services offered in the Europe (Paris) Region and 128 services offered in america East (Ohio) Region come in scope of the certification. For up-to-date information, including when additional services are added, start to see the AWS Services in Scope by Compliance Program and choose GSMA.

AWS was evaluated by independent third-party auditors chosen by GSMA.
