2022 Canadian Center for Cyber Security Assessment Overview report available with 12 additional services

We are very happy to announce the option of the 2022 Canadian Center for Cyber Protection (CCCS) evaluation summary record for Amazon Web Providers (AWS) . This assessment provides the full total to 132 AWS solutions and functions assessed in the Canada (Main) AWS Area , including 12 additional AWS providers. A duplicate of the summary evaluation report can be acquired for evaluation and download on need through AWS Artifact .

<p>The CCCS is Canada’s authoritative way to obtain cyber security expert guidance for the Canadian government, industry, and everyone. Public and commercial industry organizations across Canada depend on CCCS’s rigorous Cloud COMPANY (CSP) IT Security (The) assessment within their decisions to utilize cloud services. Furthermore, CCCS’s ITS assessment procedure is a mandatory requirement of AWS to supply cloud solutions to Canadian authorities departments and firms.</p>
<p>The <a href=”https://cyber.gc.ca/en/guidance/cloud-service-provider-information-technology-security-assessment-process-itsm50100″ target=”_blank” rel=”noopener”>CCCS Cloud COMPANY IT Security Assessment Procedure</the> determines if the federal government of Canada (GC) The specifications for the <a href=”https://www.cyber.gc.ca/en/guidance/guidance-security-categorization-cloud-based-services-itsp50103″ target=”_blank” rel=”noopener”>CCCS Moderate cloud security user profile</a> (formerly known as GC’s Safeguarded B/Medium Integrity/Moderate Availability [PBMM] user profile) are fulfilled as referred to in <a href=”https://www.cyber.gc.ca/en/guidance/it-security-risk-management-lifecycle-approach-itsg-33″ target=”_blank” rel=”noopener”>ITSG-33</a> (IT risk of security management: A lifecycle method). Of November 2022 as, 132 AWS providers in the Canada (Main) Region have already been assessed by the CCCS and meet up with the needs for the CCCS Moderate cloud security profile. Conference the CCCS Moderate cloud security profile must host workloads which are classified up to the moderate categorization. On a periodic schedule, CCCS assesses brand new or previously unassessed solutions and reassesses the AWS providers that were earlier assessed to verify they continue to meet up with the GC’s specifications. CCCS prioritizes the evaluation of new AWS solutions based on their accessibility in Canada, and on consumer requirement for the AWS providers.
